Our Apostilles and/or Authentication Facilitator Services

Apostille and/or Authentications Facilitator Services

An Apostille is a certificate issued by a government agency verifying the authenticity of the signature of a Notary Public or other public official. This certification is crucial for ensuring that documents are recognized internationally. Which means, an Apostille confirms that the seal and signature of the Notary on a document is valid, and consequently, the notarization can be accepted by the receiving agency in the foreign country. In essence, Apostilles serve as a bridge between legal systems, allowing for smoother international transactions and the recognition of vital documents across borders.

They are specifically used for documents going to the 156 countries that are signatories to the Hague Apostille Convention. This makes the Apostille an essential tool in ensuring that your documents are recognized worldwide. Documents sent to countries that are not part of the Hague Convention may require additional certification from the U.S. Department of State. It is vital to understand the requirements of each specific country you are sending documents to, which is where our expertise comes in.

We DO NOT issue Apostilles or attach them to documents. That is the role of the state agency authorized to issue Apostilles, usually the Secretary of State’s office. We do recommend that you hold off making travel arrangements until you have the completed documents, as incomplete documentation can lead to significant delays and complications during your travels. Having clear timelines and document readiness is crucial for making your international plans smooth and hassle-free.
